My favorite sock pattern, very easy, very effective. It can be adapted to make any fancy work you wish, i'm currently into using patterned yarn with contrasting heels toes and cuffs - very snazzy!

Not done a lot with this lately have i?

I guess no ones reading anyway so it really doesnt matter! lol

well the only reason i'm here now is cos i've found a new browser which is very blog friendly - its called 'flock'. Its supposed to be the 'social' browser, but the only reason i'm using it is it allows me to have 3 gmail accounts open at any one time.. one in IE one in FireFox, and now one in Flock!

Oh well maybe i'll actually put something constructive on here one day soon!

9th pair seem to take forever!

I'm currently knitting my 9th pair of socks! They're a pair for my hubby so at least he can have 'one to wash one to wear' Don't worry he DOES have other pairs of socks.. just only one hand knit pair, so he should be happy soon! They don't seem to be coming along as fast as other pairs have, but thats probably because they're bigger, he wanted them longer this time.

I'll post a pic of them soon, i'm hoping to finish them today.

I'm expecting some parcels over the next few days, a 'craft wizard' which is my valentines present from hubby - basically a memory stick in the shape of a heart with lots of crafty bits on it. A set of Joanna Sheen cds, which i really bought for my 5 year old as it has paper dress up dolls on it, honest.. i didnt buy it for me.. no no no ;) I've also ordered some self patterning wool which i can't wait to try for socks! So all in all its going to be a busy week!

There are a few more pairs, but some i've given away, and getting hubbies off his feet even to wash them let alone take piccies is a mamouth feat (no pun intended!)
